Counselors have two options when considering working at Greystone: Full-Summer Staff and Junior Camp Staff.
These staff work for three sessions - June Camp, Main Camp, and August Camp - and must be at least one year out of high school. Working on our Full-Summer Staff gives the fullest, most complete counselor experience! We ask that you work all three sessions unless you have a school date conflict. We do consider single-session commitments for June or August Camp for certain activity areas if you can also attend our staff Orientation. If you are interested in only working June Camp, we may also encourage you to also work our one-week Junior Camp.
These staff work at our one-week Junior Camp and must have graduated high school. This is a great option for staff who have other summer commitments but who still want to get a taste of what being a counselor at Greystone is like.

Some Full-Summer activity areas require specialized training that will occur before regular staff Orientation begins. Extra training dates will be discussed in the interview process.
We’ll teach you everything you need to know about being a great counselor so that you are equipped for your role at Greystone. Some activity areas require additional training that will be provided prior to the start of our full-staff Orientation. All we ask is that you arrive at camp ready to work hard and participate fully in our community. We’ll take care of the rest!
These full-staff Orientations are held during your very first week of work. We will continue to provide additional trainings throughout the summer, making sure you are growing as an employee and prepared for each week at camp.
