Why work at Greystone?
Camp Greystone is an overnight Christian summer camp for girls nestled in the mountains of North Carolina. Greystone was founded in 1920 and is dedicated to the glory of God - this mission defines everything we do.
Every summer we strive to create a community that is marked by unselfishness, where girls grow spiritually, socially, mentally, and physically. We want them to make friends, experience freedom, and know that they are worth more than what the world tells them.
This growth happens through fun activities, meaningful traditions, engaging events, crazy surprises, and most of all, the love and encouragement of our staff!
The Staff Influence
Greystone offers girls the opportunity to take a break from technology and just be young. Here girls enjoy the outdoors, try new things, and are surrounded by a Christian community that cheers them on no matter what. None of this could happen without the hard work and dedication of our staff!
Working at Greystone is all about the campers, and they are some of the coolest people you’ll ever meet! Our campers range from 1st-11th grades, and cabins are made up of 8-12 girls and 1-2 female counselors.
As a staff member, you will be a role model and a servant leader every moment of the day. This is a huge privilege and responsibility!
Counselors lead in many ways.
We perform crazy skits, play fun games, teach great skills, and sing camp songs. But mostly, we spend time with the campers. We meet them where they are, getting to know them and enjoying the joy of Greystone with them, all while keeping Christ’s love central to it all.
Meet the Directors
The Miller family has owned and operated Greystone since its founding in 1920. It’s more than a business. It’s a home, a passion, and a way of life. The 4th generation of Millers is devoted to making this summer the best yet!
