What’s a Typical Day Like in Wood Burning?

Wood Burning begins each class with a quick demonstration and explanation of what the class will be working on that day. Campers are then given 40 minutes to complete the project or practice the skill that was just learned.

As part of the Wood Burning staff, you will be an intricate part of a close-knit team that will balance safety with fun. Our Wood Burning staff encourages and engages with our campers throughout the class, helping them to achieve their goals and surpass their expectations. You will love working on our Woodburning staff if you enjoy encouraging those around you while also having a keen eye for safety and detail.

What are the activity teaching periods like?

For June, Main, and August Camps, we have 5 classes in the morning and two classes in the afternoon that are 40 minutes long. In Wood Burning, after the girls are at their perspective stations, they will receive instruction on what project they will be doing that day, and are challenged to finish said project before the bell rings.

What training and certifications do I need?

You don’t need a thing! We will teach you everything you need to know!
